Abstract:[Objective]Clarifying the typical spatio-temporal evolution laws and coupling coordination characteristics of the productional-living-ecological functions of the main grain-producing areas' land is of great significance for ensuring national food security and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the land space.[Methods] This study takes six major grain-producing counties along the Yellow River in Henan Province, including Yuanyang and Fengqiu, as the research area. It constructs an evaluation index system for the productional-living-ecological functions and combines the coupling coordination degree model and GIS spatial data analysis methods to explore the status and coordination characteristics of the production, living and ecological productional-living-ecological functions of the land space from 2008 to 2023,.and puts forward targeted mitigation strategies. [Rresults]①From 2008 to 2023, the average comprehensive function score of the productional-living-ecological functions in the study area increased from 0.147 in 2008 to 0.364 in 2023, with an increase of 147.62%. The evaluation scores of production and living functions were significantly higher than that of ecological function.②During the study period, the overall grade of the productional-living-ecological functions in this area significantly improved, and there was a continuous spatial differentiation feature. The functional evolution presented a gradient differentiation pattern of "high in the east and low in the west"③From 2008 to 2023, the coupling coordination degree of the productional-living-ecologica functions in this area ranged from 0.263 to 0.515. Over the 15 years, it crossed four coordination degree grades, from moderately disordered type to barely coordinated type. The differences in the interval levels between adjacent years were relatively small, and the overall situation was relatively balanced.[Conclusion] In response to the spatio-temporal differentiation and the need for improvement in the coupling coordination degree of the productional-living-ecological functions in the research area, it is necessary to optimize the spatial layout, strengthen the synergy between production and ecology, and improve the regional collaboration mechanism to promote food security and sustainable development, providing a reference basis for the coordinated development of the productional-living-ecological space in the research area and other areas along the Yellow River in Henan Province.
