The middle region of Shaanxi province is not only a birthplace of tranditional agricultural cultivation .but also one of the major soil and water loss region in the middle area of the Yellow river valley.Based on the rule of soil and water loss in this region, the division and classification were studied by means of shift一share method in this investigation.The object and strategy for soil and water conservation were given.
