SPSS 10.0 for Windows is a large scale statistics software. On the base of this software, the characteristics of groove gradient are discussed, and the relationships between groove gradient and other parameters of debris flow drainage area is analyzed. Especially, the single variable linear regression equation between groove gradient and degree of cutting is set up.
