According to the observation data of rainfalls and soil loss in the ecological experiment station of red soil(EESRS)in Ying tan City of Jiang xi Province from 1997 to 2003,the amounts of soil erosion of single precipitation and single rainfall erosivity in different soils of south China were analyzed.The results were as following:(1)The tendency of rainfall erosivity in single precipitation was:Ⅴ>Ⅲ>Ⅳ>Ⅱ>Ⅰ(I:12.7mm50mm).(2)The tendency of unit precipitation on soil loss in different soil types was:Ⅰ>Ⅳ>Ⅲ>Ⅴ>Ⅱ.(3)The tendency of soil loss in single rainfall erosivity was the same as that of unit precipitation,except grade rainfall.
