On the basis of field investigation, the relationship between the mineof coalfield and soil loss was analysed, the mechanism of new soil lossand other calamities caused by the mine of coalfield was described.Meanwhile, using the advanced experience of other countries for refereences, technical measures that should be solved urgntly in land reclaming and restoring and some rational proposals for the mine of coalfieldin Shenmu County of North Shaanxi are given.
