The current status of soil and water erosion and its harmfulness were described in this paper.It was also discussed that the remarkable effects of comprchensive control of soil and water erosion of eco-environment and social economy in the county.As a result,for useful measures were suggested according to the authors practical expenience to control soil and water erosion in the region
