The work of establishing environmental context database of soil erosion of China accurately and precisely,is essential in the models of quali tatively accessing the soil conservation at the whole country or region field.The work is also an important means to study the characteristics of temporal and spatial scale of soil erosion. Based on the procedure of building environmental context database of soil erosion of China in the 1∶4000 000 scale, the executive means of the database like this on computer and the accuracy control of the data with the support of ARC / INFO is mainly discussed.
