As the work on soil and water conservation monitoring in Jiangxi Province proceeds, data from the monitoring have been fairly accumulated. However, the problems like the integration, analysis and management of data have been exposed increasingly. The design principle, norm, standard, and security of the database are discussed for the database management of soil and water conservation monitoring.
