    Abstract:

Regarding the vegetation recovered for 3years on Beijing-Chengde third-phase freeway slopes as the study object,we conducted an investigation of soil nutrient status and analyzed the main factors affecting soil nutrients. Results showed that soil pH values were mostly about 6.5;soil organic matter contents on 86.73% of the slopes and total nitrogen contents on 88.78% of the slopes,in upper level;available phosphorus contents on 90.82% of the slopes,in rich level;and available potassium contents on 73.74% of the slopes,in low-middle level. This indicated that available phosphorus was the key nutrient factor for plant growth undere the current construction techniques and curing conditions.Slope material, slope direction and construction techniques had more effects on total nutrient content on the slopes.
