Abstract:The paper showed that the soil fertility,the capacity of preserving fertility and the supply capacity of coordinatingfertility factors were very small in the eroded inferior land of South Fujian. In the exploitation of the land,the mea-sures, such as interplanting green manure with orchard,green manuring,mulch and zero tillage etc.,must be adoptedto raise the fertility of the eroded inferior land.

Abstract:It is reported in this paper that we seted up demonstration area and used technological measure of adjustment con-struction of livestock group,introduction variety and spread the scientific breeding, in the basic of the investigation live-stock status in poor mountain area of the south Ninxia By demonstration work for three years,We have obtained thatlivestock group construction tend to rational,introduce fine breed,raise commodity rate. livestock husbandry has beendeveloped in the area,economic social benefit is obvious,is this area,the good circle of rural area ecological system isbuilded initially.

Abstract:Under two different types of climate in loess hilly and gully region,following three aspects were studied, namely(1) four general land preparation methods applied to different scale, (2)Soil water moving patern nearby tree plantinghole when different scale of rainwater runoff collecting method adapted,and (3)effect of the technique on both youngand old aforestation tree species growth. Results supplied both the suit size or scalp for land preparation to collect rain-water runoff and required areas to collect in case of different purpose. The results also provided scientificinformation todrought-resisting aforestation in the region.

Abstract:This paper describes the advantages to agriculture development based on characteristics of soil resource in slopeland and other environmental conditions on Xiacun Farm in Boluo County,Guangdong province,and analyses the dis-advantages in utilization of soil resource in slope land on the farm. It also discusses the approache and measures for fur-ther exploitation of soil resource in slope land in this region.
Abstract:According to incomplete statistics,the harms and frequency of debris flows in Guangxi are being increased. In thispaper, the causes and characteristics of the debris flows are analysed. Through investigation on the typical regions ofdebris flows,the author put forward the controlling measures with local conditions: 1. to make the evaluation on dangerdegree of debris flows; 2. to control debris flows through the policy of "avoiding"and "guiding"; 3. to manage theforestry scitentifically; 4. to make better comprehensive control on the mountains of grey silica; and 5. to enhanceaccuracy of forecasting rainstorm,et al.

Abstract:The energy analysis in the agricultural ecosystem indicates that energy input is increased stablly, Althong both ra-tion of energe output and output input are fluctuated,they trend towards increase in total. The ratio of energy outputto input is changed from 0. 44 to 1. 93 with an average of 1. 36. Input of organic manure is increased with the input ofinorganic fertilizer. Increase of supplementary energy mainly chemical fertilizer produces a soundably ecological andSocial benefit regardless of in the year with plenty of rainfall of with an averagy amount of preciptation. Meanwhile,the agricultural ecosystem in Shanghuang village possess strong capabity to resist natural calamities.
Abstract:The present situation,harms and influencing factors of soil and water loss for Loess Hills in West Gansu wereanalysed in this paper. The Loess Hills in West Gansu was divided into six different regions according to the differencesof physical condition of soil and water loss. Then, the ways and measures of control on soil and water loss were putforward for the different regions.

Abstract:Although there were serious soil and water loss,collapse mound,surface erosion and gully eroion in the small wa-tershed of wupohe of wuhua county,a remarkable success has been achieved in control of soil and water loss because ofcomprehensive meaures having been put in use in the county for more than fourty years. The chievements include in-creasing the rate of forest cover from 8% to 67%,decreasing erosive modulus from 10. 543t/km2·a to 1700t/km2·a.Thus the eco-enviroment of the valley has been improvecd significantly and the soil and water loss has been under con-trol fandmentaly.

Abstract:Remarkable benefits of ecology,economy have been achieved through the effect of long-term comprehensive con-trol of water and soil erosion in wupohe valley,The amount of conveyance of suspended sediment of the river was de-creased by 45 775. 79t or 77. 3%from 1985 to 1990,The river bed was cut down by 1. 25 meter,The degree of vegeta-tion cover had been incteased from 15% in 1952 to 80% in 1990. Thus soil fertility and crop yield have been raised,The total grain yield rose by 5. 4 % from 1981 to 1990,The per capita income of people rose by 92. 8%. As a result,the living standards of the people improved apparently.

Abstract:In this Paper through the investigation and surveying for Dicranopteris Linearis of water-holding capacity of theplant's stems and leaves,surfact - tempretate, Pricipitation eraperation and Soil water and analysis of its ecologicalcharcteristics and its benefit of water and soil conservation,It was showed that Dicranopteris Linenris adapts to grow insubtropical zone with higher humidity,tempreture and more rainfall. The plant gives significant benifit to conserve wa-ter and soil on slope land,And also it bringes economy and society benefies.
