    Abstract:

    [Objective] The spatio-temporal characteristics of cultivated land resources security in Anhui Province in recent 14 years were illustrated, in order to provide directions for economic development and land resource protection.[Methods] In terms of 27 selected indicators from three aspects as quantitative security, qualitative security and ecological security, an integrated assessment system of cultivated land resources was established.[Results] ① The quantitative and qualitative security of cultivated land resources showed decreasing and increasing trends, respectively. Ecology security remained stable, and the integrated security showed an upward trend. ② The spatial characteristics of quantitative security showed high values in the east and North of Anhui Province and low values in the South of Anhui Province; the values of qualitative security were higher in the middle and south of Anhui Province; moreover, the ecological security in the middle and south regions was lower than that in other areas; the spatial characteristics of integrated security of cultivated land resources was similar to that of quantitative security. The cities with low integrated security levels presented a characteristics of concentration to dispersal, and it was opposite for the high integrated security level cities. ③ The main obstacle factors of quantitative, qualitative and ecological security of cultivated land resources showed an obvious variation features.[Conclusion] The situation of the cultivated land resources security in Anhui Province was still severe. Appropriate method, therefore, should be taken to improve the level of security.
